Brilynbrook at Hobart is a short distance from the city centre, gardens, restaurants, theatres and galleries. Hobart has numerous historic buildings and 'old architecture that has been preserved, unlike other Australian capital cities.

  • Hobart Botanic gardens (where the ABC "Gardening Australia" program is filmed)
  • Cadburys Factory (take part in a tour of the factory with chocolate sampling!)

  • Take a short cruise on the Derwent River or a cruise to Peppermint Bay to sample local produce

Brilynbrook at Hobart is also a good base to explore the the South of Tasmania - Port Arthur, Richmond, Huon Trail, Tahune Airwalk or catch a ferry from Kettering to explore Bruny Island.
