Take a ride on Puffing Billy, Australia's century old steam train, still running on its original mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook through the scenic Dandenong Ranges. The Gembrook craft market is held on the 4th Sunday of the month. The market promotes sustainable living and many of its 90+ stalls feature the work of people who recreate valuable and unusual items from recycled products that would otherwise go to landfill.
 
 

Brilynbrook Farm



The Shetland Pony Stud is situated on 50 acres of natural bush and pastureland and comprises 26 ponies including the rare Blue Roan Shetland. The acreage includes picturesque fern gullies, forest mountain springs, creeks and waterfalls. Children are welcome to feed the ponies.

 
 
 

Walks

Lyrebird Walk

Take a walk through the property and see and hear lyrebirds in their natural surroundings, as well as the wealth of other birdlife including cockatoos, kookaburras and owls.

Garden Walk

The large garden invites many species of birds and wildlife, including wombats, echidnas, cockatoos, lyrebirds, possums, owls and wallabies.

The Dam

Continue the Garden Walk down to the dam. Take a book and relax. You may see a family of platypi.

Shetland Walk

Walk through 50 acres of grazing shetlands. Blue Roans are bred on the property. Children are welcome to feed the ponies.
